Among the many annual traditions of Scouting is the designation of one Sunday a year (on or near Scouting Anniversary Day) as "Scout Sunday" at churches or other houses of worship that support Packs, Troops, Venture Crews, or Explorer Scouts.  St. Paul's United Methodist Church has designated Sunday, February 19 as Scout Sunday at the church. Cub Scouts and their families from Pack 478 are invited to the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Some of the Scouts from Troop 439 will serve as a Color Guard at the service, but there is no participation required of the Cub Scouts. Scouts should wear their full uniform if they choose to attend.  Or if you go to another house of worship, you can inquire there to see if they may also be having a Scout Sunday this weekend.
