Thanks to everyone who was able to join us for the fall campout at Camp Oest and join our first pack hike for October.  Our second October pack hike will take place on October 30 at 2 p.m. on the Billy Goat Trail - Section C at the Carderock Recreation Area on the Maryland side of the Potomac River. It is a great hike just downstream from Great Falls. We propose a loop that covers roughly 3 miles. A map is linked below with the proposed route. It's a not-too-challenging loop that follows the Billy Goat Trail C from the North parking lot and returns along the C&O Canal Towpath.
